It’s been a few weeks now since we introduced India’s first Bitcoin rewards card 101 (Yay!) and our excitement is still sky high. We are aware that there are plenty of questions regarding the card, so that’s why hopefully this blog will answer most of the questions. Q1: How do I get the GoSats Bitcoin rewards card?
A1: You will need to join the waitlist by signing up at our GoSats website.
Q2: How does it work?
A2: All you need to do is to load funds and spend using your GoSats bitcoin rewards card. You will earn bitcoin on every purchase at any POS device or e-commerce brand in the country.
Q3: How do I load funds to this card? Do I have to link this card to my bank account?
A3: You can top up your balance with common means such as UPI and other traditional methods as well. Linking of accounts is not required.
Q4: Can I use the card internationally as well? Or is it only for domestic use?
A4: The card can only be used in India for now.
Q5: Can the GoSats rewards card be used in places/merchants who are not your partners?
A5: Yes. This card can be used anywhere where the brand accepts a card payment. Not just our app listed brands. But of course you could get higher cash back on using the card in the app.
Q6: Will I jump up the waitlist if I refer family and friends?
A6: Yes, you will jump up the waitlist by 5 places.
Q7: What is the difference between the Intro and Elite card in terms of pricing?
A7: The Elite card has an annual fee of Rs.1,499 higher bitcoin rewards. The Intro card has a one-time purchase fee. Both cards give the chance to win 1 full Bitcoin.
Q8: Does the card have an expiry date?
A8: Yes, it does have a 5 year standard expiry date similar to traditional bank issued cards.
Q9: How do I transfer my earned sats? Can I transfer to any wallet or exchange?
A9: Yes you can. Many people withdraw their sats to their wallets/exchanges and we do not charge any withdrawal fees.
Q10: I’ve chosen the intro card on signing up to the waitlist. Can I change to the Elite tier?
A10: Yes, you can. You can confirm or change your choice at time of launch.
Q11: When are you giving me my bitcoin rewards card?
A11: We are working day in and day out to get the card out ASAP because even we personally want to stack sats on every spend. We’ll be announcing a tentative timeline very soon so stay tuned and join our community for updates.
Q12: How many cards would be released?
A12: We would be releasing 5,000 cards in the first batch.
Q13: Would I be able to get the card if I’m in the 3000’s of the waitlist?
A13: Yes of course, all 5,000 sign ups will receive their card.
